Cookie Policy

The browser storage this website uses, why each entry exists, how long it lasts, and how to change your choice.

Effective: October 31, 2026Last updated: October 31, 2026
01

Overview

This website is built to work without tracking you. It uses a small number of strictly-necessary browser storage entries so that it can load, sign you in, and remember the privacy choice you make. No advertising, remarketing, or behavioural-analytics technologies are installed.

This policy explains what is stored, why, for how long, and how you can change your choice. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

02

Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies include localStorage, which keeps values in the browser without sending them with every request.

The entries listed in this policy are stored using your browser’s localStorage. They are not transmitted automatically with each page request; the application reads them when it needs them.

Entries are described as “first-party” when they are set by this website for its own operation. This website does not set third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

03

Strictly necessary cookies and storage

These entries are required for the website to function. They are active whether or not you accept optional cookies, because without them the site cannot load correctly or keep you signed in.

Verified in this website's source code on the date shown at the top of this page. No other storage entries are created by the site itself.

Our authentication provider also issues HTTP-only security cookies when you sign in. Those cookies are not readable by page scripts and are not included in the table above because their exact names and lifetimes cannot be established from this website’s code.

Administrative placeholder — requires approval

Confirm with the platform provider which HTTP-only cookies are set during sign-in, account recovery, and sign-out, and add each one to the table above with its purpose and lifetime.

What these entries do not do

None of them follows you across other websites, builds a profile of your interests, or is used for advertising. They are limited to loading the site, keeping a session, and remembering your privacy choice.

04

Functional cookies

Functional technologies would be optional entries used to personalise the site or remember interface preferences. None are currently used.

The functional category exists in the consent panel and is off unless you switch it on, so that any future preference is only stored with your permission.

05

Analytics cookies

No analytics cookies or analytics scripts are used. This website does not run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, PostHog, or any comparable behavioural analytics tool.

The application platform includes a built-in event-collection feature. It has been switched off for this website, and the identifier it previously stored in the browser is removed when you load a page.

The only usage record created is a first-party page-view log written by the hosting platform, described in section 07.

Administrative placeholder — requires approval

Re-verify this section if any analytics tool is added later. Any optional analytics must load only after the visitor grants the analytics category, and must be removed when consent is withdrawn.

06

Marketing cookies

No marketing or advertising cookies are used. There is no Meta/Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, Pinterest Tag, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Snapchat Pixel, or Microsoft Advertising UET on this website, and no remarketing audiences are built from it.

Outbound links to Instagram do not place a tracking cookie on this site. Once you follow such a link, you are on that platform and its own cookies and policies apply.

07

Server-side page-view logging

When this website is published, the hosting platform inserts a small first-party script into the page. It records that a page was viewed by sending the page path to this website’s own backend. It loads no third-party script, sets no advertising identifier, and does not follow you to other sites.

This record is created by the hosting platform rather than by the website’s own code, and it cannot be removed from the application source. It is retained by our provider, not by a third-party advertiser.

Administrative placeholder — requires approval

Confirm whether the platform’s settings can disable this page-view logger, and record what the provider stores server-side (page path, timestamp, IP address) and for how long. Until that is established, do not describe the website as collecting no usage data at all.

08

Third-party requests

Loading a page can create requests to other services even when no cookie is set. The following occur on this website:

  • Google Fonts: one of the typefaces is delivered by Google’s font service, which receives the requesting IP address and browser information in order to return the font file. This request does not set an advertising cookie on this site.
  • Base44: the hosting and application platform that serves the site, its data, and its sign-in services.
  • Calendly: only when you choose to book. The booking page is Calendly’s site, and its own cookies and privacy policy apply there.
  • Instagram: only when you follow our profile link.

Administrative placeholder — requires approval

Confirm the full list of provider requests at launch, including any cookie the platform provider sets on its own domain during sign-in or account recovery, which cannot be observed from the website code alone.

09

Managing your cookie preferences

When you first visit, a consent panel appears at the bottom of the page. It offers three choices of equal weight: Accept all, Reject optional, and Manage preferences. No optional category is ticked in advance, and closing the panel is not treated as consent.

  • Your choice is saved in your browser and the panel does not appear again until you reopen it, clear your browser data, or the choices themselves change.
  • A permanent “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of every page reopens the panel so you can change or withdraw your choice at any time.
  • Rejecting optional cookies does not restrict access to any ordinary content on this website.
  • You can also delete or block storage through your browser settings. This may sign you out or prevent the site from working correctly.

Because no optional technologies are currently installed, accepting a category does not enable anything today. It records your decision so that, if an optional tool is ever added, your choice already governs whether it may run.

10

Records of consent

Your choice is stored only in your own browser, in the entry named pl_cookie_consent. It records which categories you allowed, the version of the choices presented, and the date. It is not sent to our servers, and we do not maintain a server-side profile of visitors based on it.

Your choice is also reported to Google Consent Mode, a browser-side signal that tells any Google tag whether storage may be used. No Google advertising tag is installed, so this signal currently has nothing to activate.

11

Changes and contact

If the technologies used on this website change, this policy will be updated with a new effective date before the change takes effect. Questions about this policy can be sent to kpalmer@primelinefinancialllc.com.
